Welcome to the Sunshine Coast’s New Equine Hospital!
We’re excited to officially share the news - our brand new Equine Hospital on the Sunshine Coast is now open.
After a lot of planning, building, and behind-the-scenes work, our doors are open and we’re beginning an exciting phase of scaling up services over the coming weeks. While we may be new, our team and facilities are anything but.
A Brand New Hospital, Built for Horses
Our hospital has been purpose-built with state-of-the-art facilities, designed to provide high-quality diagnostics, treatment, and surgical care for horses of all disciplines. From modern examination areas to purpose-designed surgical and recovery spaces, every detail has been created with horse welfare, safety, and outcomes in mind.

We are proud to have experienced equine specialists in both surgery and internal medicine leading our clinical services. This allows us to offer a collaborative, evidence-based approach to both routine and complex cases, whether referred or seen directly.
What Services Are Available?
As we continue to scale up, we are already offering a broad range of services, including (but certainly not limited to):
Lameness examinations
Surgical procedures, including:
Arthroscopy
Hernia repair
Castrations
Cryptorchid surgery
And many other procedures
Poor performance assessments
Gastroscopy
Radiographs
Endocrine testing and management, including PPID and EMS
Respiratory work-ups
Wound evaluation and management
General health assessment and vaccinations

Gradually Scaling Up - With Quality in Mind
As a new hospital, our priority is to grow safely, thoughtfully, and sustainably. Over the next few weeks, additional services and capacity will be introduced as systems, staffing, and workflows continue to expand. This staged approach ensures we maintain the high standard of care we expect for every horse.
Emergency Services Coming Soon
We are also working toward offering 24/7 out-of-hours emergency services, with plans to have this fully operational by next month. Further updates will be shared as this service becomes available.
